Portitsa Canyon

I knew that Pindos (North Greece) was wonderful, but never felt it before until the minute I visited the vast landscapes of that place.
Portitsa is a canyon in North Greece at one the most magical places of this country, Pindos, mountains, valleys, rivers, canyons anything your heart would ever want resides inside 2500 Km's of pure nature land.
I entered the canyon early in the afternoon while the sun was right above it, I knew if I waited a while soon the light would be painting the walls of the canyon and providing me a capture that would be appealing.
There where some distant mountains which I took in considerations before I started shooting, around 18:00pm would be a good time, with the sun a bit high not yet hidden and painting inside the canyon.
I took a double exposure for this one, one for the entrance of the canyon to preserve the strong highlights and a second one within the canyon, the reflective light lit the walls on the left side.
